PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES
We provide physical therapy to people who are experiencing a quality of life disruptor which means there is some symptom that interrupts your daily life that you need help with.

You do not need to have had a baby to participate in pelvic floor physical therapy!
We perform an initial evaluation where we look at the way you move -the way you walk, squat, bend over, etc. We'll assess your strength, your range of motion, and your overall coordination. We will evaluate your spine, abdomen, core, ribcage, hips, and breath mechanics.
One of the most important aspects of our PT sessions is the education. We want you to have a thorough understanding of your body and how it works. We regularly use our pelvic model to explain body mechanics in a way anyone can understand. We love when you bring questions and we love when you're curious about things you've heard!
A pelvic floor muscle evaluation involves an internal component. We use one gloved finger to go inside the vaginal or rectal canal. This way we can assess the strength, flexibility, and control of your pelvic floor muscles.
After the evaluation, we'll review your goals and come up with a treatment plan together. We'll decide how many sessions are needed and how frequently we'll work together. We'll give you home exercises to do between sessions. Each session will have a component of therapeutic exercise, manual hands-on work, or muscle re-training all working towards meeting your physical goals.
